PFLAG members are available for immediate help for parents and/or their gay children when “coming out” has resulted in turmoil or distress.
We are not professionals. We are people with a common bond who wish to reach out to others who are facing a new and sometimes upsetting situation.
Information is also available on legal issues, medical aid, counseling resources, and religious groups sympathetic to gay concerns. We keep close contact with area gay and lesbian organizations.
